GoldMine Password Change Patch 2018.2
In the new update for GoldMine, they have added an extra security feature for passwords. All passwords must meet the requirements for a user to be able to login. GoldMine passwords for the new update must:
- Be at least 6 characters in length
- Include a lowercase letter
- Include an uppercase letter
- Include a number
- Include a symbol (!, @, #, $)
Here is an example of a password that will be accepted: Blank#123
In a few short steps you will learn how to change your GoldMine password.
1. Log into GoldMine with your GoldMine credentials.
2. Once Logged in, go to Tools
3. Go to Options
- If you are a master user in GoldMine, you will need to go to "Users Settings" and then double-click on your user
4. A new window will appear. Make sure you are under the "Personal" tab. Click the “Change Password” button. If you do not see the “Change Password” button, make sure you are in the “Personal” tab at the top of the new window.
5. After clicking on Change Password, you will need to enter your current password as well as your new desired password twice.
6. After filling in all of the fields, click OK
7. Your password is now changed and you will use your new password to login to GoldMine moving forward.
